Senny — Privacy Policy
Effective: July 15, 2026
Senny is built to know as little about you as possible.
No account, no email, no name
Senny never asks who you are. On first launch the app creates an anonymous account (a random identifier) so your data can sync and be restored. We never collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or contacts.
What is stored
- Your practice data — meditation sessions, streaks, goals, your One Thing, personal to-dos, journal entries, letters to your future self, and any feedback notes you send — is stored in a private cloud database (Google Firebase / Firestore) tied only to your anonymous identifier. Nobody reads it except as needed to act on feedback you chose to send. It is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.
- Usage counts — anonymous feature-usage events (for example "session_completed") via Firebase Analytics, so we can tell which features matter. The content of your journals, letters, and goals is never included in analytics.
Apple Health
If you allow it, Senny writes your completed meditation sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. Senny never reads anything from Health, and your Health data never leaves your device.
No tracking, no ads
Senny contains no ads, no third-party trackers, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Your data is yours
- Export — your journal can be exported as plain text from the app.
- Delete — Settings → Delete All Data permanently erases your cloud data and local state. There is no copy to linger anywhere.
Payments
The optional tip jar uses Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple processes the payment; Senny never sees any payment details. Tips unlock nothing.
Children
Senny is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
