DaddyFitness ("we", "our", "the app") is a fitness app designed for dads. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

Email address — used for account authentication and password recovery
Display name — shown in your profile and to your workout buddy
Fitness profile data — number of kids, kids' ages, available free time, energy level, and fitness goal. This is used solely to personalize your workout recommendations.
Workout history — exercises completed, dates, and streaks. This is used to track your progress within the app.
How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

Provide and personalize the app experience
Generate workout recommendations suited to your schedule and energy level
Enable the workout buddy feature (connecting you with another user by email)
Track your workout streaks and progress
Send daily workout reminders (only if you opt in)
Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), hosted in the United States. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your workout buddy can see only your display name, workout count, and streak — not your email, kids' information, or other personal details.

Analytics

We do not use advertising trackers or collect device advertising identifiers. We may use basic, anonymous analytics to understand app usage and improve the experience.

Notifications

The app may request permission to send local notifications for daily workout reminders. This is entirely optional and can be disabled at any time in the app's Settings or your device's notification settings.

Children's Privacy

DaddyFitness is designed for adult users (parents). While we collect the ages of your children to personalize kid-friendly workout suggestions, we do not collect any information directly from children.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings within the app. This permanently removes all your data including your profile, workout history, and buddy connections. This action cannot be undone.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data (visible in your profile)
Delete your account and all associated data
Opt out of notifications at any time
Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
